Bulk Upload Items via Excel

If you have dozens or hundreds of items to add, entering them one by one is impractical. The Bulk Upload feature lets you fill in an Excel spreadsheet with item details (name, price, barcode, category, GST rate, opening stock) and import them all at once. This is especially useful when you are setting up Stock Register for the first time or adding a new product line from a supplier's catalog.

Steps

  1. Navigate to Inventory > Items.
  2. Click "Bulk Upload" button.
  3. Download the Excel Template by clicking "Download Sample".
  4. Fill in item details in the template following the format.
  5. Upload the filled Excel file by clicking "Upload File".
  6. Review the imported items for accuracy.
  7. Click "Save All" to add all items to your inventory.

Tip: Double-check your Excel data before uploading โ€” ensure item names are unique and prices are in the correct format to avoid import errors.
