When you add or edit an item, you set a 'Quantity for Low Stock Alert' — this is the minimum stock level. When the remaining stock drops below this number due to a sale or stock out, Stock Register sends a notification to your Android phone. Can I set different low stock levels for different items?

Yes. Every item has its own 'Quantity for Low Stock Alert' field. Set a higher minimum for fast-selling items and a lower minimum for slow-moving items. You set this when adding the item or edit it anytime later from the item details page.

What is the Dead Stock report?

The Dead Stock report shows items that have had no sales or stock-out in a given period — default is last 30 days, but you can set any custom date range. The report shows total dead stock value, total items, and total quantity. This helps you identify inventory that is tying up capital and take action — offer discounts, return to supplier, or write off.
