Select the stores in which you want to add stock issue entry; Then, select the Store Out entry type; Then, select the receiving store/godown and enter the quantity of the items you want to transfer; Then, click on the Automatic Transfer option if you want to automatically add the stock receive entry in the receiving store and save the entry; Now you can check the stock issue and stock receive entries in both stock issuing & receiving stores.

How to create invoice on Stock Register Software

Go to Sales Invoice tab and select the store in which you want to create the sales invoice; Click on Create Sales Bill button; Select the party name, invoice date and enter invoice number; Select the items and enter their quantity, price; Enter the extra charges and discount, if required; Enter the received amount if the customer is paying any amount while purchasing the items; Add the remarks and terms & conditions, if required; Now save the entry and create sales invoice; Download or print the invoice and share with your customer; You can also edit the invoice if needed. And track the party due balance if anything is due from the customer side.

Is it possible to give access to staff members?

Yes, you can use our software for multiple users. You need to add staff members and assign any one role according to your need.

Your business information (name, type, address, GSTIN) appears on every invoice you create and in your account profile. Keep this information accurate and up to date — especially your GSTIN if you are GST-registered, as incorrect GSTIN on invoices can cause issues during GST filing. If you change your business name, address, or register for GST later, update it here and all future invoices will reflect the changes.

Steps

Navigate to Settings > Business Information.
Edit your Business Name, Business Type, and Address.
Add or update your GSTIN for GST-compliant invoicing.
Click "Save" to update your business information.

Tip: Keep your GSTIN accurate and up to date. Incorrect GSTIN on invoices can cause issues during GST filing and may lead to compliance problems.

Common Questions

No, updating your business information only affects future invoices. Previously created invoices will retain the business details that were set at the time they were generated. This ensures your historical records remain accurate.

Your GSTIN appears on all invoices you create. If you are GST-registered, having the correct GSTIN on invoices is a legal requirement. Incorrect or missing GSTIN can cause issues during GST return filing and may lead to compliance penalties. Update it as soon as you receive your GST registration.
