How to add a stock transfer entry on Stock Register Software?

Select the stores in which you want to add stock issue entry; Then, select the Store Out entry type; Then, select the receiving store/godown and enter the quantity of the items you want to transfer; Then, click on the Automatic Transfer option if you want to automatically add the stock receive entry in the receiving store and save the entry; Now you can check the stock issue and stock receive entries in both stock issuing & receiving stores.

How to create invoice on Stock Register Software

Go to Sales Invoice tab and select the store in which you want to create the sales invoice; Click on Create Sales Bill button; Select the party name, invoice date and enter invoice number; Select the items and enter their quantity, price; Enter the extra charges and discount, if required; Enter the received amount if the customer is paying any amount while purchasing the items; Add the remarks and terms & conditions, if required; Now save the entry and create sales invoice; Download or print the invoice and share with your customer; You can also edit the invoice if needed. And track the party due balance if anything is due from the customer side.

Is it possible to give access to staff members?

Yes, you can use our software for multiple users. You need to add staff members and assign any one role according to your need.

Does Stock Register software support automatic data backup?

Stock Register Software is a cloud software. Your data automatically gets stored on our cloud server whenever you make any entry or update anything. We keep secure your data on our cloud server and only you can access your data on logging with your registered mobile number. You can login on any PC/laptop to access your data.

Can I use Stock Register Software for free trial?

Yes, you get free trial access for 7 days when you create your new account on our software.

Business Setup (Onboarding)

The Business Setup Wizard appears after your first login. It collects basic information about your business — name, type, and currency — so that Stock Register can tailor the experience for you. For example, selecting 'Manufacturer' enables manufacturing features, while 'Retailer' focuses on sales and inventory. This setup takes less than a minute and ensures your invoices, reports, and dashboard reflect your actual business identity.

Steps

After your first login, the Business Setup Wizard will appear.
Enter your Business Name (e.g., Sharma Electronics).
Select your Business Type (e.g., Retailer, Wholesaler, Manufacturer, Service Provider).
Choose your Currency (default: INR ₹).
Click "Save & Continue" to proceed to the Dashboard.

Tip: You can always edit your business information later from Settings > Business Information.

Common Questions

You can change your business type later from Settings > Business Information. The business type primarily determines which features are highlighted in your dashboard, so changing it will adjust your experience accordingly.

Each Stock Register account is tied to one business. If you need to manage multiple businesses, you can create separate accounts with different phone numbers or contact support for multi-business options.
