Create Your First Store
A Store in Stock Register represents a physical location where you keep inventory โ it could be a retail shop, warehouse, godown, or even a vehicle. Creating at least one store is required before you can add items or create sales/purchase entries. If you have multiple locations, you can create a store for each and track stock levels, transactions, and reports separately per location.
Steps
- Navigate to Inventory > Manage Stores from the sidebar.
- Click "+ Add Store" button.
- Enter the Store Name (e.g., Main Warehouse, Shop 1).
- Add optional details like Address and GSTIN.
- Click "Save" to create the store.
Tip: You can create multiple stores/warehouses and transfer stock between them.
